Suitable for 3-15/16" Screw Hole Space
This handle set mounts on the surface of the sliding door frame via two mounting holes that set are spaced apart at 3-15/16 inches (center to center). It's Non-keyed and suitable for 1-1/2” to 1-3/4” door thickness.

This was somewhat difficult to install and I received 1 of the longest screws and 3 of the medium length. Of course I needed the longest, but a trip to the hardware store found 2" machine screws, which worked. I did have to carve out a taller hole for the locking cylinder and purchase a separate strike plate from Amazon for the latch. But the handles are quality and after a fair amount of wood working and a trip to Home Depot, the door locks for the first time in 15 years. Be sure to check both the hole spacing and the door thickness in your measurements. This comes with 3 different screw lengths (in theory) to fit multiple thicknesses. My only remaining issue is that the width of the door frame is wider than some doors, so the latch rubs on the wood and is very difficult to move if the handles are fully tightened. With a slight loosening of the screws, the handle had less friction with the door frame but the handles still stay in place.

this handle was easy to install without any modifications, It looks good. the only problem is the locking portion is a bit stiff and hard to lock at times.

first one came missing a screw. The replacement came in missing everything but one half of the handle!
