If you need clamps for gluing, then use a clamp. If you use clamps to hold the work piece firmly to the surface while you work on it, use these instead! They are super easy to use and easy to relocate quickly, unlike clamps that require attaching and screwing firmly in place. They sit under the work piece, where they don't get in the way of your arms or the saw/router/sander/tool you're using, and hold the piece remarkably firmly in place, in spite of the forces placed on it.I've already ordered a second set and am still very impressed with the grip they exert on the work piece. I can't compare the grip versus bench cookies as I don't own any bench cookies but these are a fraction of the cost of bench cookies and seem to do everything bench cookies claim to do, and they work extremely well.Highly recommended!

I was worried about how well these grippers could grab the wood that I wanted to sand. but to my surprise, they did a good job without using clamps. Just clean it with water after use, good as new.

well constructed. easy to loose the raiser pins. they should deliver the set not just in a hanging display, but that display could be a long term storage for the items.

Using these for my kitchen cutting board. Stacked 2-high under the board in 4 places - raises the board by almost an inch so it's high enough for my 5'10" frame AND keeps the board from sliding around the countertop. I keep the cutting board on these all the time so essentially use it as a higher countertop. These cookies are better than the kind with the separate layer of rubbery stuff on the top and the bottom - because that eventually comes off. This material is sticky on its own and doesn't need those extra layers. Plus you can stack them easily for whatever height you need. Perfect for this application. So happy to not be stooping over the counter in the kitchen and not having the cutting board slide around!!

As soon as you get them a little dusty they slide around too easy making it unsafe to use for other than painting, unlike other brands. Can't use them easily without wiping the surface, cleaning the biscuits every time you want to use them.

Slim but with amazing grip these have proved better at holding work steady when routing than using ordinary router matting. Great quality with 8 cookies in the st plus small points to use e.g. when supporting an item to be painted.
