One odd problem. The cold shoe mount seems to be ever so slightly a tiny bit too large to grab hold of accessories like the DJI mic receiver. I put a little, almost invisible strip of gaff tape on the floor of the cold shoe to hold it safe I place without it sliding out on its own.

I can’t say enough about this company. This cage’s fit and finish is flawless. All the components I own fit perfectly on the cage including other manufacturers. Excellent price for what you get.

Well-designed flexible cageIncludes complete cage as well as alternative top plate if you're not using the XLR handle.If you're using the XLR top handle there's a useful extension that makes the handle longer and closes the back as well as adding a NATO rail for additional mounting. I simply added another third-party cold shoe.There's a hand strap that allows for secure hand-holding. It obscures the native strap loop though making it a bit more difficult to add in the holders for my neck strap.On the other side, it adds an angled cold shoe mount on the corner. There's also a cable clamp attachment that can securely hold an HDMI cable which is good security if you're using an external monitor. The clamp itself will also hold the HDMI door open.The bottom magnetically holds a dual head wrench you can use to tighten screws. The set also includes two different-sized hex wrenches that are needed to tighten some parts but unfortunately, there's no apparent way to tuck them into the cage so they may need to be carried separately.While the battery is recessed when the cage is on, there's a smartly placed lever that allows the battery door to open. It might be a bit fussy to access if you're mounted on a tripod for example.There's also a white bag which I assume allows you to keep the cage's parts in if you need to disassemble it. Assembly isn't difficult but it's not something I'd want to do in the field. Assembly instructions are included although the print is on the small side. They do have a PDF available which is very thoughtful and I found it much easier to use that as an assembly guide.It's certainly a well-designed cage though.

Fit well and easy to attach. I love the extra support for the top handle and love the included hand strap. However the cold show on the cage, anything I want to put in (DJI Mic 2 RX) is too loose and falls out. You would need something that closes down on the cold shoe to hold itself. Also, with the height of the HDMI Clamp adjuster it blocks anything too big in the cold shoe.

Compré una Sony FX3 hace poco y esta vez querÃa que la cámara fuera protegida con una buena carcasa que, además, me proporcionara la posibilidad de montar más accesorios.Esta jaula alarga el mango del handle de la FX3 de forma muy necesaria (el de la cámara es algo corto) y le añade varios puntos más de rosca donde poner, por ejemplo, un monitor. En el lado derecho, en el agarre de la cámara, puedes instalar una correa que, desde que la uso, puedo coger la cámara de una forma más segura, y diferente a lo que siempre hacÃa, cogerla por el mango, que es algo que me obligaba siempre a tener la mano izquierda libre para dar a los botones de grabar cuando fuera necesario. Ahora siento la cámara mejor agarrada a mi mano. También ofrece una base de Arca Swiss, lo que facilita que se pueda instalar con otros productos que la necesitan. Y, por último, una pieza para que, si se está usando un cable HDMI conectado a la cámara, no se puede mover el anclaje, asà evitar que se desconecte.Estoy muy contento desde que lo he comprado, no puedo más que recomendarlo
