I read some review saying that the ring would get locked on your lens. I’ve not found that issue. I’m sure if you crank down on it. Yeah it’s gonna get locked down and you’re gonna need pliers to get it off. Don’t be a dummy. It does thread on it is quality, not a piece of junk that you’d go get at the dollar tree I do recommend it.

I ordered this kit to go with the small rig mini matte box. I think it's a bit expensive, but it's very useful.quiality is very good.

Adapter rings are compatible with the SmallRig Matte Box lite and work great. A little over priced however that is issue with SmallRig not Amazon.

I'm really happy with the SmallRig Lens Adapter Ring Kit for my Matte Box. It comes with filter threads for a CPL Filter and an ND Filter, which is really helpful. It also has 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, and 62mm adapters for the matte box, which is great. The only thing I wish it had was a 95mm adapter, but other than that it's perfect. Only other group would be that this should have come with their matte box!

I think these adapters should be included with the matte box but that's beside the point. The rings are solid, very well built and I had no trouble with the threads as it screwed right onto my lens without any difficulty. This kit works with the smallrig matte boxes and I recommend using these if you have a smallrig matte box. I even screwed one to my bridge camera lens and installed the matte box, looks great!

As advertised, as well made as the others. I wish the 58mm and 62mm were standard with the matt box, but can't fault the decision of what to include with the original unit.

I got this adapter set for my Smallrig "Startrail" matte box. It was confusing as the description stated it was only good for the Mini matteboxes but after writing to Smallrig they confirmed that the set is also good for the Startrail mattebox. So I got these and they allow me to use the matte box on my 58mm and 62mm threaded lenses. The only thing I noticed is that the thread is very tight and "squeals" when you turn them all the way in (which is what you should do to avoid wobbling). I am using a tiny but of silicone grease which stops the squealing and facilitates threading the ring all the way in. Just be careful that you do not get the grease on your lens glass.
