There is a small amount of assembly with this, but it's not too complicated. Word of advice though, it's kind of large and it's easiest to assemble laying down, at least to start with, so you'll want a nice, big, flat, clear area to assemble this. You don't want to try and put this together in a small space.The overall quality is very good, and it rolls smoothly on a hard floor, but be aware this is NOT carpet friendly, especially with a big heavy TV mounted on it. It doesn't roll smoothly on thick carpet with a heavy load, so I highly recommend using this on hard floors if at all possible.Also, an extra pair of hands is really handy for mounting the TV / whiteboard on the frame, especially for a bigger unit. Lock all 4 wheels before you try to mount the TV on it, too, or it'll try to scoot away from you if you don't hit it perfectly.Overall, my only complaint is it seems a bit pricey for what it is, but I can't complain about the quality of it, it seems well made and is quite sturdy. 4 stars.
