So far it seems very durable and works exactly as described. It was NOT hard to install. The setup takes about 15 minutes and all you need is a screw driver. While there is some plastic, there is metal where it matters. I especially like the auto lock feature so you don't forget to lock the door. I find the keypad quick and easy to use and like that there is a backup charge port AND a key backup if need. Time will tell on the battery life, but since the moving part just enables the handle to catch I would assume it will last a long time with normal use. Can't beat the price of this.

I got this lock due to its simplicity and aesthetic. The set up instructions were straight forward and the lock was easy to install. The customer service is also amazing, they work with you to solve any and every issue. I will definitely be buying more locks when needed for other rental properties in the future. Their Y1 model is also a nicer and more compact style lock that I would also recommend.The speed to unlock was rapid, battery life - I’ve had this on in high traffic area and 4 months later its quick and no sign of slowing. The lever feels smooth and high quality.

Easy install. Hopefully it’s durable. The dumb part - there is no way to lock the door from inside if you disable the Auto Lock. Which is ok but annoying.

Good price. I did NOT want a lock that requires internet or an app). Installation was straight forward, no problems. Programming the codes was awkward, required too many buttons but only needs to be done once. Battery door a little hard to open, requires two hands, slippery, hard to grip, better grab surface (or maybe some grippy bumps, strategically placed) would be very helpful.This lock uses a standard 1/4" solid straight shaft drive which I've found to be the most reliable (some older locks used a "C" shaped drive which tended to wear down in the corners after a few years).The first day, it did not always take the code the first time, sometimes had to re-enter a few times (maybe something needed lubrication?). But after that, it seems to be working smoothly (been using it for about 3 weeks now). Can't tell how long the batteries will last (previous locks I've used lasted at least 1 year between battery changes). Previous locks I've used had AAA batteries, this uses 4 AA - I much prefer this as these should hold more energy for longer.I did not have to change the handedness (right vs left hand) of the handles.Would have preferred more stylish (curved) handles.For all these slight annoyances, I'm taking off 1 star but since it performs well on a daily basis so far, I'm going to say this is highly recommended. Opens the door quickly, smoothly, and reliably and relocks quickly (about 5 to 10 seconds). Will update if anything changes.

Simple to install and setup. I simply removed the existing hardware and installed the Nice Digi Door Lock. It works great and looks good too, so I bought another one.

Wanted an affordable and easy to install option for a special closet in my house. I was able to add all the additional reinforcement metal around it and the door frame and still maintain the position, integrity and quality of the door handle and lock. Very pleased and absolutely recommend it.
