Q: Why are some lights not turning on or not lighting up in sequence?
A: Each light has an ID# and needs to be installed in sequence. Connect the lights in the direction of the arrows on the label, or the lights may not light up.
Q: Why is there a few seconds delay to turn on when sensor B is triggered?
A: The number of lights set exceeds the actual number of stair lights installed. Press the “Steps-" button on the remote to match the correct number of stair lights.

These are a fantastic option for lighting staircases. After using rechargeable usb lights with motion sensors and having to continually recharge them, I came across these and they are fantastic.The raceway is something that really is necessary, and for more aesthetic reasons, can be color matched to the install. In this case it was needed to keep curious animals from biting through wires.The adhesive is 3M and once it's on the wall, it's actually a bit of a struggle to get it removed. Using a hair dryer to get things warm and a paint scraper helps but the back of some of the units popped out cause the adhesive is just so strong.Next time around I'm going to replace the adhesive backing with 3M dual loc velcro so if needed, each light can be removed much easier.Overall a great solution, and I did not even use all 12, so you don't necessarily have to if your install doesn't require it as mine did not.

Bought these to solve a dark staircase problem. With both motion detection and adjustable brightness/LED color, they have been better than I had hoped. Installation was not difficult, programming via the remote with easy-to-use instructions, and also long power cord to source an outlet. I had an odd number of steps, and customer service was super responsive in helping me obtain an additional light. Excellent product with superlative customer support.

Upon receiving the original delivery I found that it was missing the extension pieces and the instruction manual. Contacted the seller and they were very responsive and we found that I was sent a customer return. They were wonderful to deal with and I received a new, sealed set of lights within a couple of day. The lights themselves are great and I will be ordering another set for our back stairs. Highly recommend!!!

Added them to our stairs, since they are in a dark area of the house we were going through the battery versions of lights far too quickly (plus our cat constaintly going up and down the stairs). Installed with no problem and I like that you can change the brightness and how they light up on the stairs.

Took our old wooden stairs and added a runner and these motion lights. COMPLETELY transformed the stairs from creaky, old, slippery hardwood to comfortable, lit and safe! One of my favorite improvements to date!

The product itself is great. Beautiful lighting and good motion sensing. The directions could’ve been better, especially when it comes to showing you left/right placement.
