Q: How to ensure the stability and safety of the door?
2 * Door Stoppers: Two door stoppers slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop your door exactly where you want, and they’re cushioned by rubber caps for a quiet close.
1 * Floor Guide: A T-shaped floor guide is supplied (with anchors) to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard.
2 * Anti-jumpers- those little round discs- go on top of the door and won't allow door to be lifted off rail unless they're turned.
Q: When do you need a headboard?
a. If the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail.
b. If there is a doorway trim.
And "door depth'' plus "trim depth'' is greater than 2''
Q: How much space do I need above the doorway?
A: You will need a minimum of 6" from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) for this kit to fit correctly.
Q: How thick of a door will this kit work with?
A: There are solutions for any thickness of door! The bolts included for attaching the hangers to the door support a thickness range of 1 3/8" to 1 3/4", but this can be easily navigated by countersinking the bolt head into the back side of the door, or by picking up 4 longer bolts from your local hardware store. The other thing affected by a thicker door is the spacing needed between the door and wall (or baseboard/doorway trim). Plug in your door depth and trim depth below:

If your answer is 0 or greater, then you're fine. If your answer was negative, then that number is the extra spacing you need. This extra spacing is accomplished by bolting a header board to the studs, and then the rail to this header board.

This door is amazing quality wood, easy to follow directions and assembly. One issue, we did not receive the correct size rail, but it still worked for us. The rail went up with no issues and the door slides with ease. Good quality heavy hardware- esthetically pleasing! Also, for all the DYI’ers we needed a slightly shorter door, we were able to customize it to make it fit with ease. Great buy worth every dollar!

Solid construction, little involved setup but detailed instructions, it works well, I wish instead of having to have to route a 1/4 groove in the door it had some other method the custom door I have is 34 inches and if I use the full rail it will leave the slot, maybe include 2 to solve the problem.

The price seemed low. The track came in pieces so I was worried it would not hold up. Once it was put together, it was surprising sturdy. I put a heavy door on it and seems to be doing great.

Hardware looks nice and seems solid - it’s been up 48 hours and it’s still hanging...which is a good sign. I will say that I am fairly handy and the installation was a bit more involved than I was expecting and the instructions were not great. The instructions don’t have bolt size, dimensions or even what size drill bit to use for pilot holes. Installation took me the better part of a day, so be patient. But the end product looks good and functions well. One more thing - I chose not to use the door guide that came with the hardware as I didn’t want to use a router - so I bought an adjustable guide that was amazing and easy to install. Overall, really good product and I’ll order again for my next door - just can’t give it 5 stars because a clear installation manual would have saved me a good bit of time.

Used on our homemade greenhouse, went together perfectly and is holding a 40lb wood and glass door. Slides like butta baby.Chose this as we live in a deep snow zone, instead of shoveling a ton of snow to open a standard door, we'll only need to create a channel if we need to get inside.
