Fits well and is adjustable. Has wind slats you can open and close. And is warm enough without having to wear a hat underneath. Great helmet at the pricepoint!

This helmet has all the features I wanted for a pretty low price.1) Active venting - aka you can open and close it when you need to.2) MIPS - in case you really do hit something.3) Sound compatible.I will say figuring out how to insert my ODT Chips was a bit challenging. Both ear pads are connected together via padding that runs around the inside back of the helmet. That piece has a long Velcro strip from ear to ear but it is really well HIDDEN. Like it doesn't look like it even exists and it is super 'sticky'.So grab the size label in the center of the pad and start pulling that Velcro open all the way to the actual ear sound pocket. Once you have it open, pull out the foam filler and drop in your chips. If you leave that piece of foam in there, it really presses too heavily on your ears - or at least it did on mine!. Then hide the cable connecting them inside the pocket area along the back but leave just a little showing through. This way you can get the Velcro open easier the next time. After all, you do need to get in and out of there in order to charge them back up pretty frequent.Overall - very very satisfied.

I was worried it would be in the way (I have never used a helmet in my whole life) but it was so light-weight, warm and fit perfectly, that I didn't notice it at all!

I have purchased this helmet many times for myself and friends over the years. It is comfortable and lightweight, yet very protective with the MIPS system. I use speakers inside the ear pieces and have never had a discomfort issue with this helmet. I also have never had an issue with goggles gapping on this helmet. I am 5'1" and bought the small and got the large for my 6' boyfriend. Both have been great.

Got this on sales, used it on a 6day trip. It’s a good looking solid helmet, with Mips and ventilation control on this pice point is great. Would like to see improvement on ear pad cutout to avoid cramping on ear, magnetic buckle for convenience and button on goggle retainer for security.

Comfortable. Fits well. Adjusts easily. Great features. Looks about as good as a helmet can look. Would recommend.

Adjustment knob failed right after the two year support period ended from the seller. There was no fall or impact, just cracked threads that failed. As this was not purchased through an authorized Smith dealer, the three year warranty Smith offers does not apply. If you are looking for the Smith warranty, verify you are buying from an authorized dealer!

smith mission helmet fits well and is warm. Medium is Adjusted to largest size to fit. Not sure how the "Removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads add warmth and are audio-chip compatible" that are in the description work and i did not get the "INCLUDED: Smith helmet bag". The last time I went skiing it was a nice day opening the vents seemed to help from over heating, I have not skied on any really warm days, so I have not needed to remove the ear pads has not been an issue.
