The first thing you notice with this player is the weight. It doesn't look that impressive online, but it's a solid unit with spartan aesthetics. There are several connection options on the back, including coax, RCA and optical cable. Just remember, as stated online, that you don't receive the power supply. You do get two different USB cables to accommodate USB A or C type connections. I'm using an optical cable to connect this to some Klipsch The Nines powered speakers and I'm very impressed with the sound and the reliability of this CD player. I fed it numerous CDs from the 1990's with severe surface scratches and expected it to hang up or reject the discs, but it managed to play them all without any errors. The remote is nice for skipping tracks or ejecting discs from across the room, and there's even a headphone jack with separate volume controls if you don't feel like sharing your music with everyone around you. For the price, this is just what I needed to get back into CDs after about a 20 year absence. Now, I just need to re-buy all of my first CD purchases from back in the 80's which I sold on eBay many years ago. History never says goodbye. History says see you later.

Grandma sent our newborn a Disney lullaby music CD. Haven't owned a disk player in ages. But getting more and more into physical media (vinyl and cassette). So I figured good excuse to revisit my teenage self and pick up a cd player.I bought this on the recommendation of CheapAudioMan for a CD transport that would send clean digital signals to my hifi stack dac. This does a brilliant job, returning crystal clear, low noise audio.The one quirk I have found is that if I leave a CD in the player and turn it off, when I turn it back on it gets hung up on "read." Only when I eject the disc and re-insert does it read the disc and get ready to play. Hopefully there's a way for them to update the firmware.

This is exactly what I was needing. Was delivered quickly and does exactly what it says it will and at an affordable price point, I couldn't ask for more.Would recommend.

be sure to buy the correct power adapter because it does not come with it and if you don't get the correct adapter it wont work (the adapter is only a few dollars). I think its like 2.5 ma 5v, not sure but it tells you in the description. Aside from that its a great CD player and sounds wonderful.

Works well and the only problem I had was finding a USB "wall-wart" and making sure it was the right voltage/amperage. I would hope that the next production run includes an owner's manual written in English. But that's a minor inconvenience, it seems to work well, so far. Downgraded one star because I cannot read Chinese.

Buon CD player, estetica molto carina, compatto. Trovo molto utile la presenza del telecomando che semplifica l'utilizzo. Display chiaro.Informo che il prodotto arriva senza alimentatore, necessita di un alimentatore USB 5V/2A per essere utilizzato al meglio, io ho risolto con un caricabatterie rapido per smartphone, ma attenzione agli ampere.Per il resto è un buon prodotto

Personalmente estoy encantado con el reproductor de CD SMSL PL100, es justo lo que buscaba. Un equipo pequeño que funcione y que tenga salidas de audio suficiente para ser versátil al usarlo con mi DAC externo. No probé sonido de DAC interno, lo tengo conectado a través de cable óptico a mi DAC favorito y suena genial, es rápido en cargar los cds, control remoto con todas las opciones necesarias. Personalmente lo recomiendo para los que tienen poco espacio como yo y necesitan algo práctico con un buen sonido y variedad de conexiones.

Firstly, make certain you have the correct 5v 2.4a USB power for this item or it won't work correctly. It comes with a USB lead for power but no power adapter. If you have a USB socket to plug it into make certain it is the correct 2.4 amp output.The unit is well made and incredible sound quality from my initial listen. A great price for a CD player of this quality.Unfortunately, on listening subsequently to one of my favourite albums that has a section of tracks that should seamlessly flow into each other this player places a jarring gap of silence in between. That means this player is no good to me. I couldn't stand to have music ruined like that so I very reluctantly had to return this player :(EDIT:I thought it only fair to update this review. It has been found by certain online reviewers that this CD Player is gapless provided you place the CD in the player and press play and nothing else. If you fast forward through tracks etc to get to a certain track and play from there then any tracks that should be gapless will have gaps inserted. A pity this isn't noted in the manual or was fixed before release. I returned this player but have since re purchased and can say this is true. It is indeed gapless if you follow the above instructions.

Par son aspect compact et son style épuré, ce lecteur a très belle allure. Il est doté d'un petit écran LCD, accompagné d'une télécommande.
