It’s soap stone….it works and you get ample product.The metal holder supplied for the flat stone? Yeah not so much. The round stone pen..it works well enough.

Having both flat and round with the protective holders is nice. Only one broken stick (flat) and near the top so no issues there. The round holder is especially nice. Great price, too.

Case was smashed when received. 2 each round and square soap stones broken upon receiplt.

So the soap stone refills are fine, but I really wanted the holder for them, but no matter how tightly I crank on it, the soap stone still slides in when I use it.

Almost all stones were received broken. The tools are very poor quality and flimsy barely holding the stones . Packaging while a convenient box had no cushioning for the stones. I would avoid this until Packaging is challenges are addressed. I sent it back for a refund.

Maybe something’s wrong with mine but the flat one simply can’t be used because it gives out with slight pressure the round one on the other hand is great
