I got this for my soccer-loving niece for her birthday, and she was thrilled. When she got home with it, she had her dad set it up immediately. Her parents said she uses it daily to work on her shooting and trapping skills for soccer.

Overall, I recommend this product if you’re not actually using this 24/7.I end up purchasing this just that I could use it around our house for my kids to be able to practice kicking the soccer ball and trying to be intentional with where they kick it. I also like the fact that it kicks it back to them without having to be there to kick it with them. The instructions were kind of lackluster they could’ve done a bit better of a job with those however I use a lot of my common sense and I was able to put it together just fine. I had no issues with the supplies that came with it however I will say that the red strap that creates the rectangle in the middle of the net Was to where the Velcro is on there as soon as I got it out of the bag so that I intend that it’s not going to last for very long unless I go in and sew it which I’m not about to do. The other thing that I noticed was that some of my poles already had scratches on it and I think that’s what’s disappointing about this product. Is that once you have scratches you can’t leave that outside because the rain and just the weather will cause it to rust so you’re gonna have to constantly move it back-and-forth. I have yet to try it with stakes in the ground, but it definitely needs to be staked because it will move all over the place if not. If you don’t want to use stakes and you have sandbags, that’s probably a better idea. The size is actually appropriate for all ages because it’s pretty big but one thing that I find frustrating is that I can’t actually fully folded up with the side arms bending because they don’t fully bend all the way with without scraping against the poles. That was also a frustration for me because now it takes up more space than what I had hoped for. All it does actually do what it’s supposed to do. It just could have some improvements. For the price, it’s not bad but it could be better. Maybe paint the red rectangle on versus using that strap that’s not meant for the net. Also packing it better in the box may help mitigate the scratches on the poles. Would love to see the bendable brackets or arms on the side fold all the way in WITHOUT scraping the poles so that it can fit nicely against a wall for easier storage.

Wish the instructions were better, but the kids don’t care about that part. We are using it for a football, and it works fine.

Unfortunately, one of the pipes came bent, so I was unable to use it. By the time I was able to try to set it up, it was past the return window. I’m assuming that we will be able to bend the pipe to get it to work, but I haven’t tried yet. Once I try, I will update my review. I was looking forward to using this product for training with my volleyball team.

Good for practicing both baseball/softball catching and throwing as well as soccer. My child is 5 and has a good time practicing with this when I am not available to be with them to throw or kick the ball around. Seems sturdy and net has good rebound. Good value.
