I am crazy enough to volunteer to coach youth soccer... this is my second season.Last season, in 8U, we used small goals with no keepers. This year I'm coaching 10U, with larger goals + goalkeepers. Unfortunately the fields we practice on do not have permanent goals, and the little 3x5' pop-up goals I already had are not sufficient representations for match conditions. SO... in order to teach some shooting fundamentals and acclimate the players (most of whom are first-time players) to attacking a full(er) size goal, I bought this rebounder. Bottom line: This is a GROUNDBREAKING training aid. I cannot yet comment on the unit's durability, since we've only used it for one practice, but so far it was well worth the money.I found initial assembly of the rebounder to be very simple, and set-up and break-down at the practice field was smooth and quick. I left the left and right 'base' sections assembled for transportation, but if you have a smaller vehicle, you may not be able to do that. If you can keep those sub-assemblies intact, setting up the whole unit should take 5 minutes (if you have helpers for the net, otherwise about 10 minutes). If you cannot keep those sections intact, plan on another 5 minutes for set-up and break-down.My only real negative comment is: be prepared for sore hands from securing/releasing the net using the supplied ball/loop bungies. They are a TIGHT fit, but that's kind of a necessity when you need the net to rebound the ball. No pain, no gain.Don't hesitate to buy this if you need a training aid. When I purchased it, Amazon was running a $20 coupon (so I paid $149). I think it's still a great value at the full list price of $169.

I’m short bungees but so far so good for what we need my daughter to practice for travel training.I’m sure customer support will send the missing ones.My daughter needs to practice her striking more than anything. This net is perfect so she’s not chasing the ball and can practice striking the ball in motion. That’s the best way. The ball bounces back to keep her practicing just like what would happen when playing in an actual soccer game. It’s sturdy and easy to move. The best part. All of the pieces are numbered for easy set up.

My 15 YO & 13 YO boys are using it and like having the ball return instead of chasing it around the yard on their own when each has no one to practice with. It seems to have good rebound distance to it for what they need. Does come with 4 ground stakes (U-pins) to keep it in place. I did the assembly and that net was super tight to get onto the frame. MUST FOLLOW their directions on which sides of net connect to the frame in the order given or else you'll be a foot or more short. I really had to stretch the heck out of it even after I went back and disconnected the one side to get top & bottom connected first. Those bungees pinched my fingers a bit to get all hooked up, but otherwise the bars were easy to assemble with everything labeled and the illustrated directions were helpful. The only thing I was unsure of was the placement of the wing nut and washers. There was no close-up shot of the wing nut part of the assembly in the instructions, so I wasn't exactly sure in what order the washers/pole/bolt/wing was supposed to be in, but I guess I did OK b/c it hasn't fallen apart.

This is a large rebound net with excellent durability, withstanding a summer of use from half a dozen 9-year-olds. It's portable and can be used for indoor and outdoor practice sessions but can't be easily transported by vehicle. Assembly was easy but a little time-consuming. Make sure you use a flat-head screwdriver to help when putting on the bungee ties.

This is perfect for my kids who play in premier soccer leagues. Excellent quality and bounce back. Assembly was a breeze with the exception of pulling the net taut and attaching the bungees. Having another set of hands would have helped as I did put it together solo. Great product! Fingers crossed it holds up in the PNW weather.

Easy to assemble and gives the kid something quieter than the fence to kick the ball at.

Net is very easy to set up. Daughter kicks soccer ball hard and net is sturdy enough not to fall over. Rebounds the ball great no matter where the ball is placed. Only negative is wish it came with more bungees, but those are cheap enough to get. Net is bigger than I thought, which is good. Great purchase.

Waste of money. I think my kids maybe kicked a ball against it 5 times and the strings broke. Given the breakage the tension decreases and it barely “rebounds†anymore. Not durable at all. Find a more reliable product.
