These are very well made. Solid and will hold up well. Good threads true to size. However my project plans changed so I ended up returning these. That's no reflection on the product. I would have no problem using them if required.

Built an entertainment cabinet into the wall and needed something to secure the cover. I knew I didn't want to use wood screws, due to the fact the cover would come off and on numerous times. The cover is going over sheet rock. I screwed these into a stud (they can be countersunk into the sheet rock) put the cover on and used Tee screws and worked like a charm.

Press-fit into a 1/2" hole, well made and finished (the zinc oxide finish while hidden is a nice reminder that my work will be noticed and appreciated long after this passes into other's hands)

This product was perfect for my intended use. A post on my bed frame came off because one of the Brad Hole Tee Nuts broke. I went to my nearby hardware stores and they had none. I found out I needed one that fit a 3/8"-16 coarse bolt and this was perfect and priced well. It was a little too thick and I had to force it into the post, but nothing extra was needed and now my bed is fixed!
