I wanted some air "movement" in my kitchen. I searched on line, including Amazon, for pricing, quality and good reviews. I liked the price and good reviews on this fan light so I thought I would try one. It worked so well, I ordered a 2nd one as well! I also liked that it had 5 blades instead of the 4 blades on others I've seen. As far as it's quick and easy to install, the air flow is great!! I was pleasantly surprised and thats why I ordered a 2nd one the next day! The upside is, ease of the size, air flow for cooling, really bright light on high setting and easy to switch the light bulb to the fan. Now 1st . . . The downside for me (not necessarily for anyone else!), I have approx. 6 pot lights in my kitchen ceiling so it doesn't enable me to just use the fan and keep just the two fans on so when turning off the lights the fans go off too! It would be nice to use just the fans at night but I don't want/need all 6 lights on too. When I turn all the lights on in the kitchen again, the fan lights come on but not the fan blades so I have to use the remote for the fans. 2nd . . . Since both fans are in the kitchen, I thought I could use one remote for both lights/fan but, evidently, it doesn't work that way so I have do use both remotes . . . One for each fan. Overall, I love them and would highly recommend these socket fans!

I bought a fan for my son's room that was similiar at a big box store. It was a nice fan as well, but it only cane w/the socket aspect, not also the wiring ability if you didn't have the ability to plug straight into a socket from an existing light. This was perfect for us! I found this and took the other back. I tested each one and this one is just as good as the other if not better with that wiring function and remote control is nice. I am planning to buy a couple more when we get our shed built and maybe pop one into our garage too while I'm out there working. This thing is awesome. The noise is low and nicely comforting. It has three modes of light color. It's great. Don't hesitate, get it! It's easy and inexpensive and anyone can install it. I will be back for more soon.

It’s not as easy to try screwing in the fan/light into the light socket as originally thought since the fan turns. You need to try doing it from the very top part.I like that the light’s color and brightness can be adjusted. Fan speed is also adjustable. I find that at higher speeds of 5 and 6, the whole thing wobbles a bit. But having plastic blades in the fan has its advantage since I am confident enough that even if the wobbly fan was to fall on my head, it most likely won’t kill me.Phone app for it works pretty well since I am able to turn on the fan and pre-cool a room or to turn on its light before I get there, AND be able to remotely turn them off to conserve energy.Will put batteries into the remote that the unit came with. Hope it works just as well.

This was very inexpensive considering the great features it has. It works perfectly and was shipped quickly. It has a remote control that dims the light and changes the temperature of the light (yellowish to bright white and blueish). The fan works great and is variable speed and reversing. I am very happy with this and highly recommend it. especially at $25.

Wow, I would expect to pay $19.99 just for a remote, but this comes with a very high quality light and fan. It came with a socket that I didn't need because I already had a ceiling socket. It also came with a four inch extension, but i didn't need that either. The remote allows you to control the fan at six speeds, and the light is variable and can be dimmed to any brightness. The blades only took a minute to attach. This fan and light is as easy to install as screwing in a light bulb. I love it. I will probably buy another one.

The Blades for this fan are just 5.25", contrary to what the product image implies. This is basically a small, middling quality table-top fan you screw into a light bulb socket. I didn't expect a full size ceiling fan, but was still disappointed seeing the actual item. I can see why it's a frequently returned item, even at 20 bux.Phone app took a bit to set up. Remote works fine. Fan does not more a lot of air, but enough if in a small space. Good brightness and light quality control. Ok for the price, if you're ok with quality.

I am very glad to have this fan light, which has multiple functions. I use it in my home office. It looks modern and appealing. Even though I use central A/C in my house, the small fan is a big plus, bringing a nice breeze as I work, making me feel closer to nature. The fan is also quiet.The light is easy to adjust in terms of brightness and temperature. It can be tuned from very bright to dim. I am especially pleased with the warm light option. It is very convenient and good for reducing eye strain to change the brightness and temperature based on my needs while sitting at my desk. This fan light is a great update to my home office. I really like this cool light and highly recommend it.If you have a usual socket in your room, just put it on. My room has an old socket that didn't fit this fan light, so I used the socket extender included with the fan light. It was easy to install as I followed the instruction video on YouTube. There are so many such videos on YouTube.
