I read a lot of reviews and this one impressed me because people said it was sturdy and I can confirm that is true. This was fully assembled. I just had to take it out of the box remove some plastic and wrap and open it up. I was impressed thhat it has a safety on it to keep it open and also it folds so flat. I included photos because a pic is worth 1000 words! It's very sturdy on all three steps. The top step I felt fine on and even jiggled a bit to make sure. I felt very secure. I'm going to put it upstairs but tried it out on our first floor. We have 10 foot ceilings on our first floor and I'm about 5'5". On the top step I could reach up and touch the ceiling so I could easily change a light bulb. I love this so much I might buy a second or third. It would be nice to have one on each floor (basement, mainfloor, and upstairs)Oh and it has grippers on the bottom so if you are on tile or something it won't slide.Love it!

Light enough weight to haul up and down the stairs, folds easily to slide in a narrow spot in the closet, and sturdy enough to hold 300lbs without feeling like it's going to break.

This was a great ladder for me. It is sturdy and easy to open a d close. It is far superior to the Rubbermaid ladder I originally ordered which was very disappointing 😞

Does flex a little. I’m 160 pounds 5’7. But I love how easy it is to use and it’s sturdy enough to get the job done.

Great step stool. It is higher than most and you can stand on the top step. It is very stable. I am short and have 12-foot ceilings and it is great in the kitchen.

Great item. Looks good. I use it for my tall kitchen cabinets, to be able to reach items I need. Sturdy and not too heavy.

My husband just loves this step ladder. He feels safe and secure on this and I no longer have to hold the old one while he is using it. It's a win win. Excellent space saver. It folds up much smaller than our old one.

- As a short person in a household of very tall people, I find EVERYTHING is high out of reach. Even the microwave. Ever tried to retrieve hot food from a microwave, solely by feel (well over your head)? Scary stuff!- So I needed a high stepstool or ladder, that is also quick & easy to unfold & refold. Plus I'm quite heavy for my height (210 lb) and others in the home are heavier (up to 300 lb) so we have broken a few cheap plastic stepstools. We needed something better.- So far this Soctone ladder is perfect. One-click to open, one-squeeze to close. Compact when folded up. Sturdy as heck.- Unknown to me, my spouse had ordered a cheaper slepladder, so I compared them side-by-side, and the differences were obvious. Every part of the Soctone was thicker and/or more securely seated/connected.Will it last? I think so. This feels like a solid winner. But will post an update if not. So far we are very satisfied. A+

I'm very happy with this sturdy compact ladder. Easy to carry and fold. Closes to a compact width. Certainly strong enough for my weight and I'm no feather. I've read other reviews that it wobbles. Perhaps it's your floor. Not all sections of your floor are level. I have that problem in my apartment. On some floor sections the ladder wobbles but move it a few inches and it's balanced. That's a floor problem, not the ladder.

This is a very sturdy step stool which is easy to fold and unfold and high enough to reach those top cupboards. It is a little heavier than others I have owned but it makes up for it in it’s sturdiness

It helps me to reaches a shelf 6 feet up and a few feet deep. It's light enough for the adhesive strip-attaching hooks to hang behind our utility room door, also surprisingly easy to carry around with a permanently injured arm. It also has an engaged frame lock so there's no danger of it folding up on you at any time during use. I also appreciate the resin steps as most step ladders seem to have metal-formed steps that are both heavy and for people like me can easily cut the skin of grabbed or held by the step, these ones no problem. It took me a long time to find this one after numerous In-store visits to only find similar ones for over $100, and still very heavy. Unsure about the weight rating but with me and balancing a heavy item to take down I can vouch it does at least meet 200lbs for stability, probably more as there wasn't even a creak coming from the frame.
