It sounds so fake it would make a prowler laugh after he jumped a little, but it seems to keep the woodchuck away from my phlox. For now anyway.

does the job...but i wish you could choose between guns OR dogs...instead of guns AND dogs...and there's only one choice, so it's not really a choice. And it's very loud, I had to put some tape over the speaker so it doesn't freak out the mailman or keep the neighbors up at night...but it does keep the stray neighborhood cats off my porch from upsetting my cats...when it's charged. lol

Hysterically funny. Actually kept garden safe. But also scared away UPS AND FEDEX. Had to call and reassure they were safe

There is no way to adjust the volume on the device. It so loud that you cannot use it anywhere near neighbors. I thought you could choose whether you wanted a barking dog or a gunshot but this is not an option. In this day and age a gunshot is not the best choice.

I purchased this to help keep geese off my lawn, along with putting up garden fencing. I haven't actually seen them be scared off yet. But it is fairly loud. No volume control, and no way really to determine which setting it's set at; also no setting to have it off at night, which to me is a flaw, as I wouldn't want neighbor's bothered at night by some fox running through my yard.
