Zero complaints for this solar panel for Ring cameras. Works as well as the name brand one sold by the company, and keeps my cameras charged! The black color makes it harder to see at night as well.Price at Review: $23.99Overall: ★★★★★Value: ★★★★★Stealth at night: ★★★★★Charge time: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆

After a few weeks I can say this does work quite well for my Ring Spotlight Camera Plus on my back East facing lanai. It came with all the accressories you'd need & the template to make it easier to drill holes for the bracket. It's done a good job of charging. As you can see from the pictures I started out at 6% & 88% in my 2 batteries, even with several cloudy days & a rainy day-- within a week it had not only maintained but had managed to charge it a few % overall. By the end of a week after the next few sunny days it's charging it up slowly. It will take time to charge a low battery as I'd expect, but maintaining your cameras use even without a lot of direct sun it should do fine. On one very sunny day (see last 2 pics) it went from 39% & 74% to 38% & 80% while I was triggering it most of the day while working on my lanai. The only thing i did notice was the cam makes a high pitched frequency-type whine when its charging the battery so if your sitting near it & are sensitive to noises you might be annoyed by it going off and on while charging. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another for my other cam in front which has less sunlight facing west.PROS: Accessories/adapter provided, template for installation & lots of wires cable clip nails to run the cord which is generously long. Maintains well even in low sun & charges decently for low batteries in direct sun.CONS: High pitched/frequency sound when charging but only noticeable if you are right by it. Not the heaviest duty one, but seems like it would hold up ok to most things. I did drop it to the ground/brick pavers from waist high & it slid along them but no damage or scratches.Note: not sure how it will do in extreme temps as the coldest it was here was in the 40's and hottest eas 80's.

I've had some challenges with the small solar panels that came with my battery operated cameras, so I'm testing various 3rd party panels that are larger to see if it improves my ability to charge them.So far, this has been a good pickup. The panel has a standard 1/4" thread port so I didn't need to change out the mounting arm to do my testing. I will probably deploy the mount that came with the panel to position it further out from the wall the panel is mounted on, but for testing the panel it hasn't been necessary. So far, this panel is charging the camera properly and faster than the smaller original panel. It's still not quite picking up enough sun to make me happy, but that's not the fault of the panel itself.

These kick any small solar panel I've had's butt. Pick this one. Got them on my Ring cameras and they are staying at 100% even triggered by chickens running around all day.

I own dozens of Ring Stick-up cameras, some of which are in remote locations where battery is the preferred power source. I also have Ring brand solar panels on some, which are failing due to moisture build-up inside the unit. I've used this one for just over a week and am impressed. The charge rate is better than that of the Ring model and keeps the battery a full charge throughout the day with all power-save features disabled on the camera, motion sensitivity at most frequent, snapshots taken every 30 seconds, and video length at longest intervals. At 10-feet, the cord length is much longer than I need but may be beneficial to many. Both the USB-C connector end and Ring power connector pigtail that is included have weather-proof seals. The mount base should give is sufficient length to mount on a vertical wall and achieve good angle for best view of the sun. However, I opted to use a camera pipe-mount clamp (not included) with the mount rod for attaching it to a motorhome ladder along with the Ring camera for easy install and removal when travelling. Very satisfied.

When I first got my security camera (a few years ago) I was very excited to have "something" protecting the home. However, it was becoming difficult to charge batteries on this remote unit. I want the camera to be more "hands off" now.- Constant power to many varieties of devices (in my case a Surveillance Camera).- Provides 4 Watts (6 Volts) to your device. 1 hour of strong daylight, is probably enough to run the camera for 24 hours, honestly.- Uses USB-C connector at the end of a 10' cable. But also comes with an adapter from USB-C - Ring (or other cams). My camera needs a USB-C connection, however it is a Mini-USB connection. So, I'll have to buy an adapter.- The actual panel is large. Larger than most stand alone panels. Larger captures more solar power, usually.- Has some really neat hold down clamps that can tidy up your 10' cable run, best with Drywall. I did not expect to get these clamps with the purchase. However if you have to go the full 10', then it will make things much less unsightly.Having not hooked it up yet, my only question is whether or not the 4W panel will supply enough power to my 6W camera to be able to keep it going all day or not. We will see. I will update this accordingly.
