The soldiering gun feels light. Once you understand the vague instructions (not much detail) the gun works awesome! There were no instructions for the soldiering pump but other than that a great product.

Garbage, typical Chinese low-quality product. Wattage randomly varies from 10watts - 50watts, temperature typically doesn’t reach high enough to melt solder even thinner than the included spool. All tips carbonized and turned into powder on first attempted use. Solder extruded spits out wire so fast it’s unusable, alignment not adjustable and extrudes wire now where even close to the iron tip. This iron is sold under probably 50 different brand names at Amazon, all made by the same factory. Save your money, not usable for circuits at all, can’t even solder two wires together.

Runs at 480c to 550c. Starts melting PCB almost instantly, and then burnt residue and solder clings to the tip and prevents the solder from flowing downwards.Edit: added a star because the seller reached out through Amazon, but a replacement does no good, the product is unusable for soldering electronics with a minimum temp of 480c

If possible I would give a minus rating as this is NOT suitable for use in the UK as it is of US manufacture and only works on US voltage. So dangerous to use in Britain!

I am used to soldering using the ancient rod and manually holding the wire. This makes it a lot easier to get soldiering done as it frees up one hand. It heats up fairly quickly and is very easy to maneuver. Overall, a good tool.
