The wick did not do a great job at removing the solder and this solder would absolutely not melt and stay stuck. Seemed to cool far too fast and just left little beads. The flux made it a bit better but not great. I was told recently tho that lead-free solder only works if the board was originally made with lead-free joints. I suspect mine was not.

The solder is Garbage! It is Scrap ends that has intermittent flux. Slaggs up so bad that 90% of the solder joints are unusable. The Solder Wick is just as bad. You get a Oxidized brade that will not absorb the slaggy solder no matter how much flux you add. Save yourself some PAIN and Money and get Kesler/Weller brand solder and start making some PROFFESIONAL joints. Total Waste Of Money and Time!!!

OKA little cheap on the paste could use a little bit more for the amount of solder that you get. Haven’t used yet. Hope everything is well.
