Used this flush trim router bit to cut hand holds into the bottom of end grain cutting boards. Just made up a quick template to clamp to the cutting board, chucked this bit up and voila: very clean recesses.In the photos are a purple heart and hard maple end grain cutting board. These woods are extremely hard and were a solid test for the durability of the bit. It held up well. Cuts were made in 2 passes, the first about half down and then the second the rest of the depth.

Retaining nut (self locking) came lose while using this bit for the 3rd time! Ruined a piece of hard wood and a template.I will not use another one from this provider/ company!!!
