Context -I've been decorating the home with pictures and thought it may finally be time to put that dusty degree in a frame.Experience -The frame arrived intact with no damage. The glass arrived wrapped on both sides, and the frame's border was stapled with some extra cardboard. To gain access to the glass, you need to bend back the metal support from the back of the frame to remove the backboard. The metal supports does not rotate and can hurt the fingers when bending them back. Peeling the plastic off the glass is strangely satisfying, and the glass looks very clear.I taped my degree onto the mat, placed the backboard over it, bent the metal support things back down to secure. When viewing the degree the white mat with its gold accent looks legit.Pros -- looks prestigious!- glass has great clarity- frame is sturdyCons -- the metal support for the back board just plain sucks, to bend them back is no fun, but I do suppose people don't change out their degrees or diplomas from their frames very oftenOverview -Nearly everything about the frame is great with the only thing holding it back is the metal support. It's strong and looks good, and I'm happy I have one of my major past accomplishment framed and showcased in the home.

This is a good-looking frame. I had mine professionally framed a long time ago and I must say that this frame was just as nice and far less expensive! I put my son's college graduation diploma in it. The combination of the auburn wood and the olive matte looks very classy. The frame is also obviously of good quality. I'd be surprised if this fell apart for many years. My son loved the framing that I did and we are very happy with this purchase.

This is a well made frame for certificates that has a nice amount of detail. It's definitely not plain looking, though it is squarely on the formal/traditional side of style. But that's cool for a lot of diplomas and certificates. The only thing I didn't like about it is the metal tabs that hold the backing on... You have to bend them with a screwdriver or something in order to remove the back, then bend them back to hold it in place. I much prefer the version of this hardware that you can rotate in and out of position.

This is really a beautiful frame that has two inserts (one blue and one cream) to help present the picture in a professional manner. The frame is lightweight and made from lighter wood, but seems to have some type of plastic coating on the front part around the edges. I used the frame for a humorous dog photo and it brought it to life. The frame is stapled and maybe glued together in the corners and the back insert is such you can hang it on the wall upright or sideways. Or, you can use the pull out piece that acts as a stand holder if you want to put it on top of a dresser or shelf. The dark wood colors on the frame make it look very professional and luxurious. This frame was a nice budget-friendly alternative for my humorous picture that hangs in my bathroom!

Beautiful frame for my diploma. I went with the burgundy wine tone since my school color was red. It has the gold trim. Very classy. Matches beautifully. I have not hung it on the wall yet and just keep it on my desk. It has the back part for that option. Well made. Great quality. Makes my diploma stand out. Hard work went into achieving and this frame is so worthy to showcase my efforts.

It's an okay frame. The colors are nice but the backing and hardware are cheap and not sturdy. I plan to add my own hardware to it. It also came damaged on the back even though it was packaged well. The backings are really hard to move up/down and I had to use pliers. My degree looks nice in it and it fit well. I don't like the plastic recycled cover much and would prefer glass and will probably replace this in the summer. It's pretty light weight. I think it's priced too high for the quality.
