The design is very stylish. There are NO dents or dings in the stainless steel. It stays remarkably clean.The carbon fiber odor additive is amazing! There is no hint of a garbage smell and trust me, we've put it to the test. For an indoor trash bin, there is no odor whatsoever. I haven't changed the carbon fiber filter yet, and I can't find any information for replacing it. The good news: it's effective and hasn't needed to be replaced. The bad news: there is no I for what size or brand is used. I'm certain it's easy enough to measure and figure out.The foot pedal is flawless and we've not had any issue with its efficiency. It's so nice to use the foot pedal and have the lid slowly shut without getting your hands dirty. The mechanism is very high quality.The value for the money is incredible. I'd definitely buy it again. It stands up to the test of time and looks and functions flawlessly even after many months of use. It truly looks brand new. I also like the ease of removing/replacing the garbage bags.

This can is beautiful and sturdy! I was surprised at the quality and thickness of the can! Excellent value! I love that it is well made, easy to clean, and easy to use. No issues with the step to open the lid (my kids are the great destroyers of all so if it survives them, it’s fabulous - they should be professional product testers. Ha).No dents and can was very well packaged for shipping!! Easy to remove and replace bags! And the included bags are great quality.Built-in odor control filter spot, easy to wipe lid (inside and out), and the mechanism at the back of the lid is easy to get to and clean should any of my darling children dump food all over it (which ended our SimpleHuman can).Overall, I love this trash can and would absolutely buy another! Also want to mention that we have a few other items here that are this brand and all are very well made! I equate this name with quality and, given our repeated positive experiences with purchases, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Songmics (which is wild to me because who says that about anything on Amazon?).

Good trash can with slow close function but there is no inner trash can for the bag so if the trash bag leaks you have to clean the the can with the mechanism that opens and closes the lid, hoping it doesn’t rust and stops working. Other than no inner trash can it’s a good size and does it’s job

I ordered the 18 gallon size. I have a family of four and this is this perfect size!!!! I can’t stress that fact enough! Also it looks beautiful in my space and matches perfectly with my fridge. Works well too!

Really like this garbage can. The bag is secure and doesn’t slip down so the inside stays clean. This is our children’s job and so the kids 10+ effectively replace the bag. I also love the capacity even though the size is your standard bag kitchen size.
