I had purchased this for my kid. He does the YouTube thing. Ever since purchasing this he walks around video taping everything. I have not used it but reviewing some of the footage he has gotten, it is very clear picture quality. It has a mic you can attach to it and pics up the sound very well without wind feedback. Besides my phone camera we have a Sony handycam from years ago. I've always been happy with that while going on vacation. Next time we go I am going to use his camera as it is a better picture than ours.
