Sooprinse Sediment Filter Attachment Line Water Hose Filter
The garden hose attachment essential for filtering sediment or impurities from faucets. The brass garden hose filter helps protect your pressure washer leaking from the waste water before they reach your pump pressure washer.
Connect one end of the line water hose filter for garden hose to water inlet of your pressure washer or water faucet outside. Connect the garden hose on the other side of the fixture.

Tips
How to Set Up
1. Make sure the Mesh Screen and Clear Container are well assembled.
2. Connect the 3/4’’ male connector and 3/4’’ female connector to the garden hose or the inlet water of pressure washer pump. If leakage at connection, please use Teflon Tape at the male thread.
3. Start pressure washer or garden hose.
How to Replace Mesh Screen
1. Unscrew Clear Container and take out old Mesh Screen.
2. Put new Mesh Screen into the Clear Container and fix it.
3. Screw the Clear Container into the Black Body of the filter.
4. If you connect new Mesh Screen to the Black Body first and then connect Clear Container to Black Body, there will be a gap at the connection of Clear Container and Black Body. It will lead to leakage

I like the filters and their multiple screen Options And have purchased several for around the garden and house, But several of these after they've been out in the weather a while charged waiting for the timer to go off have broken right at the bottom of threads above where the O-ring washer goes. we are very careful only tightened enough so they do not leak. I wish there was an option to replace The housing with Metal or something more heavy duty that would not fatigue so rapidly And give out! Or at least an option to buy replacement housings that hold the filter...

This sediment filter was exactly what I needed. Recently replaced well pump and situated it further down in the aquifer. This has caused continuous sediment contamination which has been clogging everything (clothes washer, sprinklers, faucets..). I installed a proper filter for the mainline to house, but garden spigots and animal troughs are on a separate line. I put these on the garden spigots because the sprinklers were getting clogged up within minutes. They work great. They don’t catch everything, even with the 40 mesh, but they get all the larger grit that is what’s clogging the sprinklers.They seem quality enough, and the only leak issue I had was remedied with a quick rinse off of the rubber gasket to the sump. Haven’t had to use any plumbers tape, but I’m also using these outside, so the leak issue wouldn’t really matter. I would definitely use the tape if I was installing these inside like on the washing machine… just as a precaution.Overall I’m satisfied with this purchase.

High likelihood that this thing falls apart within the first 4-5 uses on your pressure washer. Cheaply made, but if you don't mind replacing these every month go for it.

Took a little bit to get set up, works good when installed properly. Had to buy an adapter in between the first hose and the filter. Great value. Looks nice. Not too big.

Clear plastic bowl broke in less than 2 months. Product worked well but left a nice little water mess when it started leaking. Not worth the house damage

I wanted a little “insurance†when it came to protecting my pressure washer pump from the possibility of debris damage, potentially caused by grit that might be inherent in the well water input source.This unit was easily installed, came with a few extra filter screens of multiple grid sizes, and does not impede the input flow rate to the pump. It seals well and does not leak at all, as assembled with Teflon tape on pipe threads and uding the provided O-ring on its pladtic bowl.The only negative I experienced was after about a year, I bumped the plastic bowl (when storing the pressure washer cart) and it cracked its plastic bowl around the threaded portion, invisible to the eye - (but obvious when the machine was used and running).So I re-bought the same filter again to replace its bowl. I also rotated the filter to “clock it†such that it bowl no longer was mounted vertically- which repositioned it on the cart such that it was far less likely for it to be impacted during transporting or storage between uses.I have not had any other problems whatsoever using the filter assembly. I use QC type connectors for the garden hose input and remember to empty it out - like the pump itself - when not in use for long periods - or if freezing temps are expected where it will be stored.I wish the bowl had been made of a heavier gauge composite to prevent cracking - but it was no doubt my fault it broke. Plus for the $12 cost - this is a fair value.I definitely recommend it. BTW - my pressure washer is a Honda powered unit - with a 3.2k PSI pump. I use it for washing houses, autos, and other general maintenance. This filter has been in constant use now for over 2 years.

The filter works well for the laundry tank water supply, however, the outlet thread pitch is not properly machined to connect to Australian tap fittings.Fortunately the brass outlet fitting can be unscrewed and easily replaced with a fitting that matches Australian domestic laundry water fittings; note that a thicker 'O' ring is required to ensure the replacement fitting doesn't leak.A good selection of filter meshes is supplied with the filter housing.

This unit whilst is well made, does not have standard thread brass fittings (nor size) to work on our taps. my pressure washer uses standard garden tap fitting hose thread. unit doesn't fit on anything we have.Tried to find an adapter to be able to use this unit, however the adapters we did find cost more than the unit.disapointed.
