Got this as my kid is learning in school; its so much fun as Mom and kid gets entertained by teaching each other. Over all its a good deal for the beginners. Sound is also good; just the material seems not so good when compared to the one he uses in school; rest all is good for the $ spent on this.

Two of the recorders I ordered for our school broke as the students attempted to take the recorder apart to clean. The music teacher assured me they used the correct method for removal (twisting). To me this indicates a cheaper plastic.
