Bought these for my patio. Sounds way better than anything you can get intended for outdoor. I wouldn't put them in a position where they would be rained on,very loud and decent bass .highly recommend

I've owned this set for 5 years (purchased on Amazon). Had experience with a serious Peavey set many many years ago and loved them (Black Widows). Wanted just a little set for easy use. They are a nice set. Can't expect much at 50 watt RMS. However, they always sounded a bit tinny/muddled. I have known since early on they didn't have crossovers. Recently purchased some cheap little 2-way units and installed. Makes a very nice difference. Highly recommend if you buy these. They still can't hit the real lows. But they are very capable for a smaller area and I'm now excited to have them, where as before, it was just "ok".

I bought these for my local Kiwanis Club. The are really excellent. Crisp clear sound and the price is right.

This is not my first set of Peaveys, its probably my 10th over the years, and to be honest they dont have the punch I'd like, but then again I've had some expensive systems so I didn't expect much. I wasn't thrilled because one speaker had a grill bent in, I suppose they get rough handled in shipping or the warehouse, but a piece of wood, some cardboard, and a small ball pin hammer straightened it out pretty well. These don't have great bass response, but the mid and treble is decent. I'm building a surround sound system with it, so I'll be adding the twin 15 inch woofer set, so it should balance it out. If you have cheap speakers at home, for the price these will blow them away, so for the price their not bad, its just stupid to have to fix something as soon as it comes in, it was easier then sending them back and waiting a few weeks or more to get replacement ones.
