Easy to install, just had to get the courage to finally put it up midsummer. Need a staple gun! I didn’t have a lip to staple in the attic so i stapled on the inside border. some overlap but most sizes fits all. Let’s see if my electric bill changes at all.

I like the installation, which took maybe about five minutes. The zipper is a little tricky to get around the corner, but it seems sturdy enough. I immediately noticed a difference in the walk-in closet, where I installed this that goes up into the attic, but, I was hoping for a little bit more. That room gets pretty cold because it’s far away from the thermostat and is in a room all by itself… Which means the uninsulated trap door into the attic was blasting 38° down into the room. Once I installed this, by the end of the day, it was about 48 to 50° on the trap door (according to my thermal imaging gun), which is a lot better than 38°! But you know, you always have your fingers crossed for a little bit more… I’ll take it, for the price though! It’ll probably pay for itself in a couple of years.

Great product my top floor, where my attic is is always very drafting. This works wonders. It was the best purchase I bought so far for this year. I definitely recommend this product if you have a drafty attic.

We plan to get an attic fan installed before the high hears of Alabama heat comes back around. Seems to have help in temperature regulation on second floor and attic .
