This was bought for the rainbow trout that were stocked in the ponds around Houston. I lost my older one and this one worked just as well.

These are where it is at for trout. Rainbows, cutthroat and cutbows love these. I regularly outfish people using panther martins and mepps with these. I was at a lake in central Montana in late September and walked by some folks who said they hadn't done anything all day. I walked a little farther down shore, made one cast and caught a nice 17 inch rainbow. I caught a total of 10-15 fish, all nice cuts and bows. This was a slow day for everyone else. These lures, especially the gold ones, will get fish when nothing else does. At least out here in Montana.
