Seems like good quality. Installing was fast and super easy. I had to use factory bolts due to the ones in kit were not the correct size. Not a big deal at all.

First issue is with the double-threaded stud that mounts at the bottom that holds the spare tire, it does not have any type of hex anchor point for a socket or wrench to grab it in order to tighten it into position, and if you try to use plyers, you’ll end up crushing the threads, also it seems just slightly smaller than the other two studs and the lug nut had a lot of play making it difficult to thread it on and tighten it. Next problem is with the upper two studs that come pre-mounted to an interior bracket, at the back end of the bracket it serves the function of a washer clamping around two of the bolts that hold the tire carrier to the tailgate, except this part goes right against the paint of your car And the finish was poor when it was manufactured and it has some sharp spikes sticking back towards the paint of the car, this obviously happened during manufacturing because it had black paint over the sharp bits, also, the upper studs were difficult to thread through the mounting holes on the cast metal tire carrier, causing The studs to come through at an odd angle instead of straight, seems to be a function of poor manufacturing tolerances. It was also missing the plastic anchor that is supposed to hold this metal bracket to the tire carrier. But I managed to get it on, and the price was right. (my original OEM part cracked close to one of the studs (surprised they use cheap cast aluminum for this).

This item works and was easy to install. However, there are chips in the paint but can’t be seen with the tire in it. The bolts didn’t match the tailgate tread. I used the old ones and this seems to be a fairly common issue with this product. My old mount was completely destroyed so I didn’t take the time to send it back and wait for a new one. I would give it 3.5 stars. I will say it’s better quality than the old one which was completely plastic.
Terrible doesn’t stick lasted about 5 minutes

Don't waste your money don't get nuts to put on tire so what good is it with no instructions but with no nutts get real would not recommend

As other reviews stated the bolts that come don’t fit. Also some of the holes weren’t drilled properly but I was able to use a file to get the bolts to fit. If you have the old hardware and a file then it’s an easy install.

Great product. Fit perfectly. Only gave four stars because the hardware wont fit. I just used my old bolts. (2017 wrangler) the new hardware would of been nice to swap out my old. CAUTION! do not over tighten! It will crack! Only tighten to 60 foot pounds. I did to 80 like the owners manual states. Cracked the casting.My fault not the product.

First off I would like to say, usually I don’t read the instructions, but we didn’t even get any instructions, which would have been really handy to refer to. Also none of the bolts supplied fit the nuts. Last complaint is that they didn’t supply lug nuts to hold the tire on. Very disappointed would not recommend
