I have broken a few of the wooden handles from the box stores on my push broom over the years. This time I decided to upgrade. The handle fits tight, with minimal slop. The threads are a lot tighter than the metal inserts, that's a good thing. Just be careful to start it straight and did take some force to get it into my broom head. It feels really sturdy when in use. I expect it to be a long lasting handle. I will update if that's not the case.Update: after 6 months of hard use the handle is still in great shape. Its used with a push broom for the shop and driveway. Its holding up great! Recommended!

It works.Both ends are plastic.I ended up buying a 72" one with a metal screw end for $10 more.

I bought a 2nd one after getting the first setup with my auto cleaning brush soaping off vehicles. Nice Length and sturdiness. Actually using one to replace a broken broom handle. Just wish the end swiveled for hanging.

The item is nice and usable but not packaged at all. It arrived scuffed and scratched from the travel. Would have appreciated it if they had at least wrapped it in paper.
