I shoulda paid attention to prior reviews when someone mentioned throwing them in shallow slightly boiling water for like 10 seconds...(use tongs) ....the first set I got I cracked instantly trying to make it fit ....after that I tried the boiling trick and it worked like a charm. It makes the material soft and malleable long enough to easily push into place ....once it's set it cools down in seconds and stays in place perfectly....trust me don't try to force it on and risk breaking it or damaging your speaker ...

Looking at the people who say they are to big I can see that my JBL Flip 5 is totally different that theirs. These covers are so small, like 1†in diameter too small, to fit the one I have. Annoying.**** Amendment*** I don’t have a Flip 5, I have a Charge 5. This is the reason they don’t fit. #Oldbrain

Once installed they look great, protects the speakers and does not affect sound quality. If you like carrying your speakers in you backpack you need these. I little finagling required to install but well worth it.

Very good, tight fit. I had to work at it for a few minutes to get it to snap in. My only complaint is that the flip 5's ends are not flat, they're "wavy". It sits flush with the high spots, but doesn't dip in for the low spots. I know, that's being really picky. It mildly triggers my OCD, but protecting the speaker from damage wins overall.I'll probably eventually file down the high spots, but like I said, that's being nit picky, and most people wouldn't notice or care. I would have rated 5 stars if they matched the contour of the ends.

I initiated a return because like many others I thought they didn’t fit. They absolutely do. It takes a good smog pressure to pop it over the rib on the speaker. Very sturdy are not going to fall out without wanting them out.

Ok, they do fit, but not easily. I recommend soaking them in hot water to soften them then they will snap in place.

I couldn't get them to snap into place at first. I had to soak them in hot water to soften them. I don't think I can get them back out without breaking them. They will definitely not fall out. I'm glad I checked other reviews or I would have sent them back.

Did not fit. Quality is cheap. Broke when trying to put them in.
