This is a great aid for snorkeling, even if there aren’t boats around to warn. My friends were able to see where I was at any given time, even when they were only at water level themselves. The rope and clasps are high quality, but the rope is way too long if you’re snorkeling. There’s lots of Velcro that can be used to tie up the excess rope. I got a 1lb diving weight to keep the float oriented correctly. Easily supports two people who need a rest.

Overall it seems ok, but the flag is very small. Returned for a more known brand, which has a 3x larger flag.

This float is a great deal in comparison to other floats that are &150+, it has multiple small d-rings and handles. The construction seems to be of good quality.

I bought this for a snorkeling trip to the Florida Keys. The number one cause of boating accidents in Florida is lack of a lookout, so having some very visible way to let them know you are in the water is advisable. This float does the job - it's about the same diameter and 3x longer than a crab trap float, and everyone avoids those. It would be a process to inflate orally, which is why I use an inexpensive electric pump. The electric pump inflates it in less than 10 seconds. No idea how long it would take to inflate by blowing into it, but suspect it would be a bit.

Went out today and went diving the coast guard came up to me and said that the flag is not big enough you need to make a bigger flag for this float

The float works great but the flag tips to the sides. To get this to work properly I had to mount weight to the bottom of the float.

As mentioned, the white stripe is not visible on both sides. Other than that it seems to be fine.

It doesn’t float upright unless you have tension pulling on the cord. Other than that it seems to be made good and is very durable.

I lost the flag the first day, the rope gets tangled everywhere
