I have used this a handful of times already and it has worked great. The only issue I did have with this is the washers that come with it seem to bend fairly easy. It's not quite a safety issue but it makes it harder to keep everything lined up when they start to bend. I replaced them with thicker washers and haven't had an issue since.

I worked under an engine supported by this bar for several hours while I was preparing the engine for removal. No worries. The feet on the ends of the bar are configurable to fit many engine openings. The engine opening on top of my Boxster does not have parallel sides and this bar fit in the drainage channels with no extra work. The chain hooks are long enough to be secure. The wings on the tightening nuts are large enough to generate torque. All pieces are solidly constructed. Not the cheapest option, but do you really want to work under the cheapest engine support bar?

The handles can be kind of annoying to turn when you want to raise whatever your holding, but overall it works like it should. I recently had it supporting my engine for a couple days and it didn't fall apart and collapse, so overall I'd buy this again if I needed to.

This thing made it possible for me to swap out the slave cylinder that is hidden inside is the transmission housing. Works very well. Just be careful where u mount it. It bent my front fenders a bit. Vq35de v6 Altima coupe
