I buy this to fill up the sprayer from the same brand that goes to a hose. It does the mixing for you so you just pour it in there and go. I buy this to refill it since it is cheaper for the refill if you already have a sprayer. Or you can mix it with water and use it with a bug sprayer. You have to pull back the label to see the full directions. I have found that it works best if the lawn doesn't get rained on for a few days. Waiting for a dry day will make it have more bang for your buck. Also, it can really take out weeds but it takes several days before you will notice a big difference. I use it whenever I see weeds. Roughly about 4 times per year. My yard has got a lot better since I have been using this for about a decade. You want to put seed down a couple weeks before or after using this. Not at the same time. If you use it when it is too hot it can sort of burn the grass but it hasn't been an extreme problem. It won't kill the grass if you use it as directed. Some weeds it doesn't kill or takes more applications. When you apply it you don't have to do very much. Just spray it on there and wait a week. Then do it again. Putting too much on at once seems to make it not work as good. It also works better if you aerate right before you put it down so that it gets to the roots. Several applications is better than a lot at once. It is a good deal for the price. It works best when used right after cutting the grass.

Never spray this stuff when it is too hot or you will kill the grass too. Ask me how I know? The weeds were taking over my Bermuda grass lawn because the Bermuda isn't as thick as it could be. Weeds filled every bare and slightly open spot that was available. I'd used some vinegar+dishsoap+salt for spot treatments of crabgrass which was very effective, but it kills everything, so for a yard with 50/50 grass and weeds, it isn't practical.Put the amount of product amount, unmixed, for my 3000 sqft grassy area into the Ortho 20gal hose-end sprayer, set the rate for whatever the instructions said and sprayed the entire yard during a dew-less morning. Advice from guys in Indianan, Iowa, Chicago, Texas, California, or Phoenix are probably great for those areas, just not good advice for a guy like me. Perhaps your local AM radio news station has a Garden Guy on the air Saturday mornings. Good source for local knowledge and questions too.Also, be careful not to spay this onto any bushes. They will be killed - well, the branches that get over-sprayed will die. I'm looking at my front hedges where about 10% were hit by over-spray and all the leaves are dead. Hopefully, the rest of that bush will be tough enough to make it through winter. It was already stressed from some shade problems that have been solved.I would post some recent photos, but we haven't had rain in a few weeks, so even the bermuda has lost the green from lack of water. When the grass is green, it is clear which weeds were killed. I probably had 10 different types a undesirable weeds in the yard from crabgrass, some moss, some low-ground cover (type of violet?), and sedges. Also have some of the neighbor's non-bermuda grass coming over too. Their yard has excellent grass, except where there isn't any dirt, just clay on the surface. Nothing grows directly in clay from what I can tell.

The weed killer is awesome. I used it all season last year and it controlled all weeds from growing and killing the existing ones. I did however didn't use this year so I have a variety of those all over. A great wees killer that does not bother the grass, but kills the weeds very effectively. I cut the grass prior to its use and ensure there is no rain in the forecast for at want 24 hours. I used a spray bottle make the mixture, but it was a very tedious exercise so I plan to use a hose spray this time around.

This does not kill weeds quickly and definitely don't expect to see results in 8 hours for most weeds as stated on the label. Some weeds it does work pretty well not, but not in 8 hours. Other weeds, particularly dandelions, for me seem extremely resistant. I have hit them several times with a good shot of spray and while some eventually and I'm talking weeks of staying them 3 or timed, do seem to be dying. While some of the dandelions still seem to be thriving.

This kills small weeds and crabgrass seedlings, but it has little to no affect on mature crab grass, which is expected for a chemical like this. If you use it for what it's meant to kill, it works great, but it is not a miracle worker.

I use this in rotation on my Bermuda grass lawn. Came wrapped in plastic so not to leak. I buy the larger bottle and refill the hose end sprayer for convenience and ease of application. Does a good job on broadleaf and grass weeds in my lawn. Buying the refill is a good value for the money versus buying a new sprayer every time.
