Since I'm the proud owner of a bunch of nestabilities dies and a Sizzix Big Shot machine, it was inevitable that I had to acquire one of these embossing pads. I was a bit freaked out by the reviews on Amazon, because one person got a nasty residue on their paper and someone else got a smaller size. Nevertheless, it seems that one doesn't have a choice, but to take this leap since the nestabilities dies cannot be embossed without it, regardless of the machine that is used. I got the perfect 5x7 size as advertised, and I got absolutely no residue of any sort left on my paper. All in all, I'm a happy camper with this because it embosses perfectly well and it is exactly as advertised. I would like to add that as a word of caution, make sure that the embossing pads are used properly in the machine with the proper "sandwich" and it doesn't have a lot of cardstock piled on top like it says in the nestabilities instruction booklet, because it almost broke my machine piling three pieces. *Two pieces did the trick for me with these embossing pads.*

Works great with my Cuttlebug and the price was right. I've always used the Spellbinder dies without embossing but using these to bring out the embossed image really adds a lot of depth to the images. I also love there are two. I don't think they'll need to be replaced for a long time.

Interesting that they are described as “enlarged embossing pads†when they are so much smaller than the original embossing pads. They’ll work, but my bad for not reading the dimensions

(Bob's Wife) I have a Big Shot so it doesn't exactly fit, but I like having additional padding for items that do not always emboss as deeply as I like - this fits the bill perfectly!

I use several brands of dies and embossing folders while crafting. These mats make embossing on any machine with any die a dream! Crank a little harder than normal on your embossing machine and you're sure to get fantastic results!
