I was impressed with this bit when I first started using it with my soss hinge template. It cut easily and smooth. Then I messed up and instead of the guide hitting the screw, the blade hit the screw and cut half through a screw that was used as a stop for center part of hinge that's deeper. I was sure it wrecked bit.... but started again making sure all was set properly and I was able to finish my table leaf project with smooth cuts. I am very impressed it took a licking and kept on ticking. Good bit

I bought this 3/8th's inch bit to use for making box joints. It does a nice job cutting oak and seems to be very sharp. The cuts are clean and square across the top. A good tool.

Cnc’d 131 pockets 1 7/8 by 3 1/2 and 1 1/4deep in red oak. Bit is still cutting fine. Expected it to give out around 50.

This is my second SpeTool spiral cutter. I primarily use Whiteside router bits in my shop because they cut clean, but wanted to try these given the price. They cut super clean, way cleaner than my experiences with other off-brand router bits from Amazon. Basically no burning on the woods I've used it on (walnut, sapele, and maple so far). Used on a Triton TRA001 on the number 4 speed setting. I've had similar experience with the 1/2" size spiral bit from SpeTool.

It wasn't sharp enough to cut a piece of cherry. I'm flabbergasted at how bad this bit is.

Routed 32 mortise joints in hard maple between 3/4" to 1-1/4" in depth(mix of end grain, long grain, and into mitered ends). All mortises were clean with no burning and only a small amount of fuzz left at the outer edges(to be expected with upcut bits). Great bit with virtually no runout! Time will tell how durable it is but it cut just as clean on the last mortise compared to the first. For the price, it's a great purchase and a no brainer!

These are excellent bits for a great price. I was expecting a lesser item as usually the more inexpensive items will just last not as long. This was not the case for these items. Inexpensive but lasted like a much more expensive item. Thanks.
