Ubfortunately the machines I work for is hard to use a regular edge finder so I decided to give this a try and I wasn't much impresed by it , don't if its the battery that is low but the light is dim , you need to be careful cause the contact point is rigid and if you put too much pressure it will break and the tool will no longer work ( had a co-worker break his and had to buy another ) the truth is , there are other indicators ( that for another $30 more ) have tips that are flexible and won't break , but if you don't want to spend extra money you have this option , just going to have to make sure battery is good and to not put much stress on the tip
