This does fit jeep ZJs, I have purchased this part twice for my 1995 ZJ 5.2 quadratrac, and for my 1994 ZJ 4.0 selectrac, even though Amazon said it doesn't fit, if you got this part number from Spicer, then it is going to fit, Amazon's data is wrong and they need to fix it

Couldn’t find it at my local part store, so took a gamble on this as the listing said it wasn’t compatible with my 97 TJ. I have a 97 Jeep TJ with an AX5 manual transmission and NP231 transfer case. The middle section was a little longer than what came off the front driveline but it fit wit no issues. Installed it 8 months ago and still no issues with it.

Fixed a very squeaky double cardan driveshaft on my Jeep. My 1998 ZJ has had the transfer case swapped so probably doesn't have the original front driveshaft anymore, but it worked perfectly for what I do have. No more annoying noises. Went with the Spicer 5-1310-1X u-joints with the grease zerk on the end of the caps to make servicing easier in the future. Installation wasn't too bad after watching some youtube videos, in fact it went together a lot faster than it came apart. Just remember to grease it!

I've had my '73 Bronco for about 25 years now (>Dana 44) and this one is something that has always flown under the radar for me, mostly because it's buried inside the 2 front u-joints and H collar on the rear wheel drive (side note: plans to get another one for the front). You can totally inspect, grease and even replace the surrounding u-joints and have them look and act 100% and not consider the centering yoke may be your problem until you physically drop the shaft and take it all apart. I'd been sitting on a new, full set of Spicer u-joints because I'd never replaced the 2 by the transfer case, but they have always looked and acted fine, yet (let me state, my Bronco has always been my main driver) knowing I'd never replaced them in 25 years, felt it was time. Anyhow, you know this centering yoke is there, you just never think to check it when you're actually under there, therefore (mostly due to the way sound travels undeneath) when mine developed a super-loud rotational squalking, along with a very strange "feel", yet knowing the relative good condition of my u-joints, the drive shaft was not the first culprit I considered. ANYHOW, this item + the new u-joints was the total remedy, and my EB has never acted so right. SO........if you have a Dana 44 or other Spicer shaft (applicable, of course) and you haven't ever replaced this in yours for 10+ years, do yourself a favor > spend the extra $10 over generic and get this Spicer brand. Your 4WD will appreciate you. Thanks.

This yoke assembly is really good quality. It fit my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ perfectly, only problem being it didn't work with the stock socket yoke rubber cover. The zerk fitting port is also super convenient.

I rebuilt my CV driveshaft with 1310 joints and this yoke assembly. Previously built by Tom Wood. It had greasable centering yoke without dust seal. There are two types of centering yokes, greasable vs non-greasable. The greasable version, that this is, does NOT have dust seal cover available. In fact, the dust seal Spicer sells is for the non-greasable version should NOT be used for the greasable version as it will not allow the yoke assembly to seat properly plus it won't seal.I personally would not use non-greasable unit of centering yoke as the seal half hazardly seals the assembly, I am not sure how the needle bearings are to survive millions of rotations during its life time without additional lube besides the rubber seal that goes around the yoke is nothing like the tight double seals seen on non greasable u joints. So there you have it, greasable centering yoke DOES NOT have dust seal available.

Worked great for my 90 Grand Wagoneer. There are two part numbers for this. This one has the hrease zerk. The other doesnt. One looks taller ( the one that cant be regreased) this one looks shorter. But no. They are both the same height so both will work for the 1310 drive shaft. Also to the stupid people saying they returned the lart because it didnt have the plastic cap.. that cap isnt needed... all it does is hold the spring in and keep dust out.. and it has to be removed before install.Cmon guys

Ajusta perfecto a mi Jeep Wrangler TJ 2002.
