I am doing leveling on a slab just in our main bath. I was happy to find an inexpensive smaller spike roller. Build quality surprisingly good. Heavy die cast handle, seems solidly built. I haven’t used it yet but it is going work great I can tell by looking. I would recommend for the DIY guy

We bought this tool to help us roll out self leveling concrete. We only needed a quarter inch depth of material and it worked like a dream. It helped keep the concrete fluid long enough for us to work with it and spread it properly.As others have mentioned, it is not threaded, but we had a wooden paint pole and attached with a screw. There is a hole in the metal handle.that allows for that.

The handle attachment is not threaded, so I had to rig the connection to a handle. For the cost it would seem that a threaded handle (to accept a broom handle or paint roller extension) would be there - but it wasn't.The business end (the roller with teeth) rolls easy and looks sturdy enough for my purposes.

This is what you need to break water tension while using self leveler.You need a wooden extension pole from big box stores that have the pointed end.

Roller feels good and solid (thats why two stars) but can not be attached to ANY extension pole. No thread male or female! Perhaps if one would customize piece of wood but as a professional I doubt you would want wood. It needs to go in and lock in with great confidence. Not in this case. Not at all.
