Purchased this more by son and he absolutely loves it!! It is very easy to assemble my young child can put it up securely with no problem. The built in level is wonderful allows easy verification it’s straight. The grip is great we use it on a polished stain wooden door frame, the fit and functionality are perfect as described by the supplier.

If you have a door frame that you can't screw into, this works well. You need to tighten it to the point that it seems like it will damage the frame (which it won't), and then it holds weight just fine.

The Sportneer Pull Up Bar has truly exceeded my expectations! The standout feature is the no-screw installation—super easy to set up and secure, without leaving any marks on the door frame. The adjustable width and locking mechanism are fantastic, allowing it to fit perfectly in various doorways in my home. The thickened steel construction gives me confidence in its durability, and with a max limit of 440 lbs, it feels incredibly sturdy during my workouts. I appreciate the multiple grip positions, making it versatile for different exercises like pull-ups, chin-ups, and leg raises. It's been a game changer for my upper body workouts.

Slips a little under use unless it's cranked so hard it makes my sold wood doorframe creak. The soft padding that is great for regular pullups and the position of the tightening screws means it's not compatible with workout loops that would go over a bar.

I recently bought this item for a newly refurbished apartment. Upon following the installation instructions and using the device a couple of workouts, I realized that the device started to bend the door frames, causing cracks in the corners, on both sides of multiple doors as well as peel off all the new paint (see pictures). I chalked it up to perhaps the door frames being improperly constructed, but I tried it at 2 of my other friend's houses with similar results. As I am not a heavy person and within normal weight range for my age and height, the bar was far from being overloaded and far from being extended to its maximum length in order to support my weight. The only upside was that the product was relatively easy to install. However, I would highly recommend assessing the strength of your door frames before considering purchasing this product, as it is VERY LIKELY to cause superficial or even structural damage, as it did for me on multiple occasions.I bought other pull-up bars before of similar design from other companies, and it did not cause damage to other door frames. As such, it may potentially have to do with the design of this particular pullup bar itself.I would highly recommend against this particular pull-up bar and consider looking at one of the other pull-up bars that may be safer for the integrity of door frames.

This is a sturdy product, which is great, but there is no way you get to see its sturdiness shine through with most standard doors. When you lock the product into place, it will crack most conventional standard door frames. Make sure to reinforce the frame before installing it and you'll be happy with the item.

Received the item today set the bar at a a total width of 77cm ( 30,3 inches ) which is the width of my door way. At this width the company claims it should support close to 200kg. I weight 200lbs and when i tried it for the first time after securing it in place perfectly the small locks on both sides popped off from the tension and the bar started to turn in my hands. The locks are made of plastic and are screwed(twisted like bottle cap basically) on the bar each in opposite directions to stop the metal bar from turning. For me the system feels cheap to have plastic pieces twisted in opposite direction to hold a metal bar in place. System might work for lower weights but at 200lbs the plastic locks popped off on me every time ( unscrewed themsleves) . Will be returning the item tomorrow. Dont know if i received a faulty item but to me the system feels cheap and if it cant support 200lbs ( 90kg) i dont know how they can claim that system would support 440lbs (200kg).The picture i added is the result of the plastic lock after it popped off, you see the gap between the bar and the lock after it popped off.I still give 2 stars because the bar in itself is sturdy and did not fall even if the locks popped off.
