I'm normally a very eco-friendly person, but I do enjoy a long hot shower. i've noticed over the years that standing in a hot shower would irritate my throat and make me cough. Little did I know that the chemicals in our water supply were potentially poisoning me. I found the Hand Held April Shower on Amazon and noticed an immediate difference in the water. I no longer have throat and lung irritation when I shower. Each tube lasts a few months. Great product, good price!Been using this for over a year now... it made the move from FL to CO with me. I have really clear well water now - from a natural spring - however - when we had flooding last fall the water got dirty and potentially had bad bacteria in it - I was really glad I had the shower filter! Only 2 draw backs to this product: 1. The plastic bracket that holds it to the shower pipe broke shortly after I bought it - I purchased a suction cup version that sticks it to the wall in the shower and that seemed to fix the problem. 2. I've yet to see if the cartridges are recyclable... and since they're plastic they aren't eco friendly.

- happy with purchase - per enclosed product instruction: lubricate the rubber rings on shower head ends with petroleum, such as Vaseline - chap stick works out just fine - recommended 3 months use - I do 6 months as I lather and rinse with tap water - then cool to cold water final rinse with Sprite cartridge hand held shower attachment - rinses off the tap water - a way to extend the cartridge life - once a month remove cartridge and turn/ flip cartridge ends to get maximum effect - nice to be able to save money any way you can - my skin is less dry and itchy using this product and hair is noticeably softer - very happy Amazon has these available for purchase - * after new cartridge install run water 5 minutes before first use - cold water is fine -

Our tap water is very harsh and gives me eczema. I can't shower without something to remove the chloramine they treat the water with. These filter out most of the impurities. They don't last very long. I need to replace every few months.

I’ve been using the Sprite filters in my handheld shower for years. Sometimes I forget to change it, but guess what? My hair tells me too.! Here in Florida where I live the water is just not “hair friendly“ when I change the filter and let it run for a while before I use it I do too or maybe three shampoos with Shampoo that is specific to my hair type, and then I use a good conditioner. My hair thanks Me. It’s shiny and bouncy, just like it used to be when I lived in New York.

Very easy to install and change the filter- it has an app that tell you when it’s time to replace the filter. Shower has about 7 settings and has a long hose so I can wash dogs. Best of all it doesn’t leak!!! unlike others that cost a LOT more. Water is soft and not full of chlorine which is good for hair and skin.

I didn't replace the Sprite filters after three months and after the fourth month, the flow got backed up a little. Working wonderfully since I changed the filter.

As per Sprite, these filters filter out chlorine, but do not filter out chloramine.Otherwise, they work well.

This is definitely the right item as pictured in its branded sleeve not a plain tube that it is to be hoped is the same quality as I got once from somewhere else.
