I was given an old edger and string trimmer that ran needed new carbs. This kit was a direct replacement and went on quickly. Everything lined back up and the engine started up immediately once done. Works good and has same power as before

Product fit like OEM and installed in minutes. For some reason, the unit I received was not adjustable, and the high speed circuit is a tad rich for my machine. Nothing I can do about this, but it is still better than my old, clogged carb. It would get a full 5 stars if the carb was adjustable as others claimed. Maybe this is a running change to production.

Not a mechanic but this was easy! Had to change the fuel line grommet to the larger one that’s in the kit and used a soapy solution and Needle nose pliers to help get the hoses through (hardest part). Easy 2 screws to replace, pop on the fuel lines, primed a couple pumps and fired right up! Running better than ever! ECHO PE-200 about 15 years old - alway run 100% gasoline / 2 cycle mix - NEVER use ethanol gas!! No carb adjustments needed

15 year old PAS-230 is working again! Both adjustment screws are accessible (factory carburetor has those screws plugged).Worked without any need to adjust any screws.Took less than 15 minutes to replace; everything aligned well like OEM part.About 3 years ago changed diaphragm and seals, last year managed to open two adjustment screws, this year tried to disassemble carburetor and clean it.. nothing worked. It used to start and die. Spark arrester was clean.Finally decided to replace carburetor. This one is perfect fit. Comes with fuel lines/filter, vent, bulb, spark plug and air filter. Finishing is surprisingly good compared to original part.If time is money then cost of this part is far less than attempting to disassemble, clean, adjust. I have seen YouTube videos on cleaning and adjusting the metering needle but I suppose it’s not worth it.At about this price there are twenty other options and I chose this simply because of same day delivery was available.

Had original carb off and apart 3 times for hard start finally orders this carb installed, primed, boom starts perfectly cold or hot, runs and idles like string trimmer is brand new
