I picked up an echo pas-225 which didn't want to start but did manage to make a few pops. I took the carb off and it wasn't the OEM ZAMA one so instead of wasting time trying to clean it i bought this and did the swap and the machine is running!

Rebuit a 13 year old Echo edger. The factory hoses are leaking. This kit was easy to use all parts a great, no problems but take pictures befoe disassembling. No instructions but picture worked, rums like new.

Very inexpensive yet complete service kit, keeps the Echo trimmer going. Easy to install on GT-225:- remove air filter cover screws and remove air filter- remove two torx head screws behind air filter- remove old carburetor by unhooking throttle cable and scrape off old gasket- remove fuel line, return line, and vacuum hose from fuel tank grommet (pry off) and from old carburetor- install grommet with new fuel line, return line, and vacuum hose on fuel tank and to new carburetor- preload torx screws with air filter housing onto new carburetor and new gasket- align the two torx screws and tighten onto engine- install throttle cable onto carburetor- install new air filter and tighten air filter cover- remove old spark plug- install new spark plugShouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

Like the rest of us out there I didn't wanna have to drop a couple hundred on a new trimmer. Wanting the power of a ²stroke again. After my 5 year old ryobi hybrid 18v bit the dust.I found my old echo weed eater in woods where I threw it some years back for not starting. That's when I picked up the ryobi.Granted It was a gamble but It still had spark and compression. It would start with fuel dropped in the cylinder then reinstall the plug. But it wouldn't stay running, The fuel lines were dry rotted. The carb was locked, so I removed the carb and the prime bulb was not existent by the time i found it.I found this kit and thought hell for So it's been a week and still running great. So I've decided to order another for my echo leaf blower. All in hopes of bringing it back to life as well.As a bonus I have an extra air filter and two primer bulbs.

Everything fit perfectly weed eater is back up and running. I love the fact that everything comes with it because the hoses need to be replaced every so often especially in south fl.

Fairly easy to remove the old carburator and install the new one.I don't even adjust the setting on it, I just give a little more idle speed and good to go. Very affordable.Swill buy again for othe two stroke machine that I have
