Your cart is empty.The G500-MO is a heavy-duty foot switch that makes it easy to turn electrical equipment on and off with the foot, freeing the hands to perform other operations or providing ergonomic improvement to a workstation. Features all aluminum construction, an oversized guard (5.5” high, 6.2" wide) with enough room to fit large boots, and an oil/water/splash/dust-resistant enclosure (when used with the proper cable clamp). This is a momentary foot switch, which means that it actuates when your foot is on the pedal, and de-actuates when you release your foot from the pedal. Includes a single 20-amp 125/250VAC-rated switch with one common, one normally open, and one normally closed contact (SPDT, Form C). Side cover flaps help protect pedal lever and shaft from oil, solvents, and water. 3/4"-14 N.P.T. threaded conduit entry in back. Also see the SSC Controls C1 Cable Clamp or C2 Cable Clamp if you don't already have a strain relief. Ideal for factory, shop, metalworking, iron workers, boom lifts, food processing, riveting, bending, and many more applications. UL/CSA/NEMA Enclosure Type 2, 4, & 13. IEC rating IP56. Great quality, easy to access switch to wire. Used it to run a rigid pipe threader . Also pedal area is wide enough for larger work boots.

These foot switches have been on every pipe threader I've used for 47 years in the trades. I have yet to see one fail or destroyed. Only CON is it should have two (2) 1/2" threaded hubs for wiring. With only one and wanting 2 cords, one as power in the other power out it leaves a gap for dirt and debris to enter the enclosure. I want to be able to use cord grip connectors to seal better the enclosure. I use this on multiple saws, routers planner, so I can have 2 hands on the work. Cheap strudy safety value for the money.

The quality of design and construction of this foot control is exceptional and the fact that it made here in the USA at this price makes it just that more outstanding. The housing and foot pedal shield are cast aluminum. All the component parts are of industrial quality. The SPDT switch allows a number of useful wiring options for the operation of power tools such as milling machines, drill presses, table saws etc, such as foot controlled "momentary on" with the option for a hand switch operated "constant on".

Work perfectly. Just as good as the OEM. I wish it come with a cable gland which make the installation much smoother.

This foot switch looks to be much more durable than the original that I installed on my electric wood splitter. The first one was about half the cost but did not hold up. I have installed this one and tried it out but it has not had much use. I had a career as an electrician and just from experience I know this unit will hold up much better than the first one I tried.
