I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine. Cardinals remind her of her mother, whom she lost a couple years ago. I have to say, this was absolutely beautiful. And it has music you can turn on which I was unaware of when I bought it. It was so pretty I now want one for myself :)

If you are not using the USB power, you have to ensure the batteries are seated well. The song arrangements are fresh and interesting, like any music box set, though one time through is enough if only a few people are around. In a crowd, it would be fine. On silent with only the "snowfall" going, it is gorgeous and wonderful. It's heavy and well-made. I'm so glad I got this snow globe.

I purchased this Snow Globe for my Mother for Christmas this year. I wanted something with a Cardinal in it!! My sister passed away a year ago and Cardinals are messengers from Heaven that your beloved person is saying "HI, I am Great!!" This snow globe didn't disappoint, my Mother Loved it and so did everyone else. This particular Snow Globe, was different from all the other ones, the unique style, vintage, made it very special! When the lights are on, it is fabulous!!!! The only downfall was the packaging that it came in, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! It appeared to be the original box it came in, however, it was NOT in another box, just a label on the original box so it went through some wear and tear during shipping. And even beyond that, the box appeared to be very old with wear and tears beyond the shipping. Once I opened the box I found the Snow Globe in perfect condition! So I used a gift bag to give the Snow Globe to my Mother, vs using the original box it came in. I did contact the seller, and never heard back :(. But I guess the bottom line, is that the item was Beautiful!!!

I purchased these nativity globes for my brother, my sisters, and myself. They are absolutely beautiful, and it is a unique addition to my Nativity sets. The only thing that I have not been able to figure out is how to lower the volume on the Christmas carols. I will admit that I am not the type to have kept or read the paperwork that came with it. The good thing is that it does have a silent setting and the setting for Christmas carols. I keep it on silent mode. Other than that, I would absolutely purchase it again.

I loved everything about this snow globe. It's beautiful. I chose thus one because it can be used with batteries or USB charging. Also you can just have the light on, or light with music.Great value for your money. I got the red truck and tree with cardinal. My husband even commented on how nice it is. Great purchase!!!
