very stable, Fits the Kitchen Aid mixer very nicely, Mush less expensive than the name brand ones. So far works just as well.

It does as asked what else needs be said? I grind high fat cuts of meat and this thing takes it like a charm even with minimal cutting. Cleaning is fairly easy but don’t forget to oil it to avoid rust and the grind will come out great every time. It’s simple to use but fitment it into the machine can sometimes be a pain.

Plastic parts are now metal which is better and plunger is plastic instead of wood. godd changes

This is crap. I used this ONE time and just washed it in my dishwasher. The hopper tray, screw auger, and auger body lost all of the coating. Refer to first pic to see this nice grey residue on my fingertips. The second pic has a pic of the sausage stuffing tube and grinding plates. The plates are stainless as i washed them. The tube I have not used (still in plastic from box) and the grey pieces all looked liked that before washing. Retuning for a refund. Buyer beware on this “stainlessâ€.

This is not completely stainless steel, which I thought it was. The tray is plastic. I’ve only used it once and it seemed okay, but I’m not sure of the longevity. Time will tell.

This is a little bit of a disappointment, but I’m not surprised since it is chrome coated cast metal. Unfortunately the hopper is plastic with chrome coating on it as well. Shoppers must know that, because it’s not dishwasher safe, that means it’s not real stainless steel.

Use this to grind up chicken breasts for certain recipes that call for ground chicken. Works very well!
