For the price especially, they are very good, does the job, But, the cap is very wobbly on 2 of the 3. I still gave it 5 stars due such a great price for 3, and the ice pick it self is great.

This is a great, sturdy, good looking ice pick that I actually bought to use as an iki jime tool (look it up). It works great for that on everything up to bluefin tuna.

Just keep in mind the length, only about 6 inches so may only be good for smaller pieces of ice you want to break up.

Here in Northern Nevada, we are able to play golf during the winter (when no snow is on the ground) but one thing we have to deal with is frozen ground on the Tee Box. This product is the best thing I have found to solve the problem of not being able to get a Tee into the ground to put your Golf Ball on to tee off with Driver/3 wood or Irons. You can push it into the ground to the depth you want (just make sure you place the point of the ice pick beside the little hole you made so you can find it to put the tee in) for your Woods or irons. In addition, when you have your ball on the tee you can screw the ice pick back into other piece and place it in your pocket without having to worry about making a hole in the pocket. I have had it for several years now and it works great.

Very well made and goes through ice easily. Only concern is if replacing the pick in the sheath after using may result in rust. No problem so far. Also great for making holes in plastic and cardboard boxes for air or liquid. I use recycled material as seed germinators and these picks are great for letting water out of the containers.Also great that you get three picks so I can designate one for this alternative purpose, one for ice and one as a spare.
