These are well done. They fit and stay on my square(s)...all of them from speed square to 2 foot squares and all the different versions of them that I have and use on a regular basis. I am a Contractor and Business owner so I have a lot of stuff. I like that these fit everything I own and are easy to install and STAY PUT where I set them. They do not loosen up or move and the color matches my Empire Square and when they are in my “everything†drawer of my box, I can find them easily due to their color. The fit and finish of these is good. Not spectacular and top shelf but not terrible ….I’d say mid-plus. They do what I need them to do and I do not see them failing. I will most likely lose them or they will grow legs and walk away before they were to break. These are solid and there is not all that much to go wrong with them so they should last a long long time, even in the commercial use setting that my set will be dealing with.I would order these again and I would recommend them. These are nicer looking and feeling than some others I have had in the past. A+

The stops work just like they are supposed to, but in hindsight, I would prefer ones with the wider gripping surface to minimize marring on my square and to provide a little more stable attachment. Otherwise, the blue metallic finish is beautiful and the handy carabiner carrier is.a great way to help keep track of the tool when not in use.

These stair gauges are sturdy and look great! They hold well, but adding a rubber grip would make them even better for extra stability. Perfect for various applications and allow for precise, repeatable measurements. Overall, highly recommended!

If you only have a framing square and you want straight and even steps? Then you need this tool! Made from aluminum it's light enough to carry on a tool belt, and strong enough to survive the ride. Clamp onto your desired step lengths and start marking away, it's that easy.

These stair gauges are so nice. They are tall enough that you can be sure they ride the edge of the board and do not slip up onto the top of the board, like shorter gauges can do easily. These have a nice holding bar to keep from losing one when you really need them. They clamp securely onto your carpenter’s square. Great tool for any framer.
