Its still very new, I've only had time to heat it once, using oil to start the process of making it non-stick. It's heavy fits the grill perfectly and seems well made. I've had other steel gridles that cracked when heated to high. I will update review if it fails.

Perfect fit for our new Weber Q 1200 grill, and a fraction of the cost of the Weber brand. Right out of the box, it had some pre-seasoning, but I seasoned it more before using. The griddle took the seasoning beautifully and cooked perfect pancakes (no sticking) the first time we used it. Cleaned up in a flash. Fits inside the grill for storage & transport. Reverse side has a diamond grid and will be perfect for seafood as well as grilled veggies. I’m sure this griddle will provide many happy camping meals for our family.FYI: Weber strongly cautions not to use two griddles at once, covering the entire grill surface.Perfect substitute for the Weber brand griddle for the 1000 series Weber Q grills.

Okay first!! Works on the Weber Q 200 and much cheaper!!! We love this! We just bought a RV and we almost bought the new black stone grill, however my husband still has his good ole trusty Weber in the garage since 2007! It is amazing! My husband was able to set up the attachment for underneath in a few minutes and it makes moving it so easy, especially for me!!! We read a lot of reviews regarding treating the griddle first so we did! I included a photo of what we used! The griddle is amazing!!! FYI it is one per order so we bought two for full coverage. With that said you can take half off if desired! I included a somewhat partial covered photo, but my daughter was cooking breakfast so sorry! Lol! Our girls can cook on it easily as well. So far no drawbacks/cons found at all!!!!

Fit my Weber Q1200 nice and no complaints so far. It comes unseasoned so if you’re used to Lodge or other brands of cast iron that come preseasoned you’re going to have to season it with oil and cook some bacon on it before using it but for the price it’s worth it. I even have been using it as a griddle plate on a larger grill too. The drip holes are pretty convenient too. Would definitely recommend, no need to spend the extra for OEM Weber.

The surface isn’t completely smooth, but I didn’t have any trouble with sticking once I had put it through a three step seasoning process. My Q100 it is an older version with a one piece grill, so I use this sitting it on top of the grill. In that configuration, you need to have your flame up high in order for it to heat the grill properly.

Haven't used it yet, but it appears to be quite good. A bit more difficult to season than the grill, which I also bought at the same time, but I don't think this is a problem with the product. Is a really good addition to the BBQ. I bought the split grill and the griddle which add a new feature to our BBQ, Would recommend as experienced thus far.
